At first, it wasn't hard to believe, that someday they'd have a son. She was still beautiful and young, and he would be the son of promise. But as the years wore on, and the gift remained unseen, they wondered what it all did mean, had they been wrong about the promise? So they began to think of ways, the promise really could be true, without simply believing, He'd do what He said He'd do.
Chorus But faith is seeing the unseen. It's holding on when there's nothing left to hold on to. Faith is believing, in the impossible, in things that only God can do.
Could Ishmael stand before the Lord? He was the son of their own deed, he could not be the promised seed, he was the son of a servant. There could be only one, and he would come as God had said, if they would follow where He'd lead, if they would wait upon the Lord. Is anything too hard for the Lord to do? So Sarah bore a son, and showed His promise true
Chorus
